How to Configure Wireless Internet Connection on Playstation 3

This tutorial will show you how to configure your wireless internet connection on Playstation 3.

1. Under the Settings Menu select Network Settings.
   


2. Select Internet Connection Settings.
   


3. Hit X on the controller or remote.
   


4. Select Easy and hit the right button the Dpad.
   


5. Playstation 3 will check network configurations.
   


6. Select Wireless and hit the right arrow on the Dpad.
   


7. Select Scan and hit the right button the Dpad.
   


8. Select your SSID and hit the X button.
   


9. Verify the correct SSID is selected and hit the right arrow on the Dpad.
   


10. Enter your wireless encryption key and hit the right arrow on the Dpad.
    


11. Playstation 3 will check your network configuration.
    


12. Verify your settings and hit the X button.
    


13. Select Test Connection and hit the X Button.
    


14. Playstation 3 will attempt to connect to the access point.
    


15. Once connected it will attempt to obtain an IP Address from the Access Point.
    


16. If the connection was successful it will show succeeded.


17. HIt the Circle button.
