How to Speed up Taskbar Thumbnail Preview in Windows 7

A new feature was introduced with Windows 7 called the thumbnail preview.  This feature allows you to see a thumbnail preview of an open program.  When using this function you will notice a slight delay. This tutorial will show you how to speed things up.

1. Click Start.
2. Type Regedit and hit enter on the keyboard.
   
3. If the User Account Control window appears, click OK.
   
4. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ CONTROL PANEL \ MOUSE.
5. Double click MouseHoverTime.
6. By default Windows 7 is set to 400 milliseconds.
7. Change the value to a smaller number (100) and Click OK.
   
8. Restart the computer.
