How to view the Playstation 3 Internet Connection Status

This tutorial will show you how to view the Playstation 3 Internet connection status. The Playstation 3 connection status provides the following information.

• Internet Connection: Enabled or Disabled.
• Connection Method: Wired or Wireless
• Signal Strenth: Shows percentage
• SSID: Network ID (Wireless Connection Only)
• BSSID: Basic Service Set Identifier
• Channel: Wireless Channel
• Security: Encryption Type
• Key: Security Key
• Address Settings: Automatic or Manual
• IP Address
• Subnet Mask
• Default Router: Gateway IP
• Primary / Secondary DNS: Domain Name System
• MAC Address: Media Access Control Address
• Proxy Server
• UPnP: Universal Plug n Play
• Nat Type

1. Under the Settings Menu select Network Settings.
   
2. Select Settings and Connection Status List.
   
3. View connection status.
